Pajama pants, avoiding traffic, don’t have to pay for a sitter – many people are relishing teletherapy options. We are staying flexible and aligning with health and safety recommendations without interruption to treatment.
How our teletherapy works
You can use any device so long as you have access to the internet
For your confidentiality, we use a platform that meets and exceeds requirements to ensure HIPAA-compliance
You will receive an emailed or texted link 5-10 min before your appointment. (Double check you’ve entered your email address in our Client Portal)
Click on the link in the email. (You may have to copy-paste link into your web browser.)
At the Welcome prompt, click “Test Internet Connection” to test your internet speed.
Enter your name to join the call then click “Join Video Call.” Your therapist will be with you shortly!
Tips for Telehealth
- Choose a place that’s quiet and comfortable to you.
- Choose a place that’s private.
- This is your time! Try choosing a place that is free of distractions.
- Sessions are the same length as in-person sessions.
