EMDR

What is EMDR?

EMDR or Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing is a therapeutic approach and perspective that puts trauma firmly in the past.

Abuse. Never feeling good enough. Healthcare worker trauma. We can use EMDR for all kinds of things.

Whether “Big T” or “Little t” traumas, EMDR helps clients to understand how past experiences can cause us to get stuck, create negative beliefs about ourselves, and continue to create problems.

With EMDR, we are able to utilize the brain’s innate healing mechanisms to go beyond just coping. We can get unstuck, and ease those negative beliefs. EMDR creates lasting change. The result? Peace and freedom. Confidence and wholeness.
